Day 01: Arrival in Islamabad, Pakistan

Welcome to Pakistan! Upon your arrival at Islamabad International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore some of Islamabad’s famous landmarks, including Faisal Mosque, Pakistan Monument, Daman-e-Koh, or Saidpur Village. In the evening, your expedition leader will conduct a comprehensive briefing covering the Baltoro Kangri Expedition, route overview, climbing schedule, equipment inspection, safety procedures, and final preparations for the adventure ahead.

Day 02: Fly to Skardu or Drive via Karakoram Highway

An early morning flight to Skardu offers spectacular aerial views of Nanga Parbat, Rakaposhi, and the mighty Karakoram Range. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing afternoon exploring Skardu Bazaar or walking along the Indus River. This is also an excellent opportunity to purchase any remaining personal equipment or trekking supplies before entering the mountains.

Day 03: Rest, Acclimatization and Expedition Preparation in Skardu

Today is reserved for acclimatization and final expedition preparations. Participants may visit Satpara Lake, Kharpocho Fort, or the historic Shigar Valley while our staff complete permit formalities, food supplies, equipment checks, and porter arrangements. Your guides will review climbing techniques, communication procedures, and emergency protocols to ensure everyone is fully prepared before departing for the Baltoro Glacier.

Day 04: Drive from Skardu to Askole

After breakfast, we leave Skardu in 4×4 jeeps for the adventurous drive to Askole, the final permanent village before entering the Karakoram wilderness. The scenic journey follows the Braldu River through dramatic valleys, rugged mountains, and remote Balti settlements. Upon arrival in Askole, meet the porter team, organize expedition loads, and prepare for the trekking adventure beginning the following morning.

Day 05: Trek from Askole to Jhola

Our expedition officially begins as we trek along the Braldu River, crossing suspension bridges and passing small grazing areas before reaching Jhola Camp. The trail offers magnificent views of towering cliffs and rugged mountain landscapes. Upon arrival, relax beside the riverside campsite while enjoying your first evening under the spectacular Karakoram sky.

Day 06: Trek from Jhola to Paiju

Today’s trek gradually gains elevation while following the Braldu River toward Paiju. As the trail progresses, the magnificent Trango Towers, Cathedral Peak, and other granite giants begin to dominate the skyline. Paiju Camp offers beautiful surroundings with fresh water, shaded campsites, and unforgettable sunset views over the surrounding mountains.

Day 07: Acclimatization Day at Paiju

A full acclimatization day at Paiju allows your body to gradually adapt to increasing altitude before stepping onto the Baltoro Glacier. Your guides will also review glacier travel techniques and ensure all climbing equipment is ready for the days ahead.

Day 08: Trek from Paiju to Khoburtse

Today we begin trekking across the legendary Baltoro Glacier, one of the world’s largest non-polar glaciers. The route follows rocky moraines, ice formations, and glacial streams while offering spectacular views of Trango Towers, Uli Biaho, and countless surrounding peaks. After an unforgettable day on the glacier, we establish camp at Khoburtse.

Day 09: Trek from Khoburtse to Urdukas

Continuing along the Baltoro Glacier, we gradually ascend toward Urdukas, one of the most scenic campsites of the expedition. Located on a grassy terrace above the glacier, Urdukas offers magnificent panoramic views of Trango Towers, Cathedral Peak, and the surrounding Karakoram wilderness. The afternoon is reserved for rest and acclimatization.

Day 10: Trek from Urdukas to Goro II

Today’s route traverses the central Baltoro Glacier through a dramatic landscape of ice, moraine, and towering peaks. As we gain altitude, breathtaking views of Gasherbrum IV and other magnificent summits surround us. Goro II Camp is situated directly on the glacier and provides one of the most spectacular overnight locations in the Karakoram.

Day 11: Trek from Goro II to Concordia

One of the most memorable days of the expedition. Day 12: Trek from Concordia to Baltoro Kangri Base Camp

Leaving Concordia behind, we follow the upper Baltoro Glacier toward Baltoro Kangri Base Camp. The route passes beneath spectacular ice formations and snow-covered ridges while the imposing summit of Baltoro Kangri gradually dominates the skyline. Upon arrival, we establish our fully equipped Base Camp, organize climbing equipment, and prepare for the acclimatization rotations that will begin in the coming days.

Day 13: Rest, Acclimatization and Climbing Training at Base Camp

Today is dedicated to acclimatization and technical climbing practice. Our experienced guides will conduct refresher training on glacier travel, fixed rope techniques, crampon use, ice axe handling, and safety procedures. Day 14: Load Ferry to Camp I and Return to Base Camp

Weather permitting, we begin our summit attempt during the early hours of the morning. Depending on conditions and timing, the team will either continue toward the summit or establish the final stage of the ascent before completing the climb.

Starting well before dawn, climbers ascend steep snow slopes, glacier terrain, and exposed ridges under the guidance of our experienced mountain team. Upon reaching the summit, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of **K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I & II, Masherbrum, Chogolisa, Mitre Peak**, and the vast **Baltoro Glacier**. After celebrating this incredible achievement, we carefully descend to Camp II for an overnight stay.
