Cancellation Policy

How to Cancel

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@k2adventure.com.pk.

  • The cancellation takes effect from the date we receive your written notice.

  • If someone other than the lead traveler submits the cancellation, the lead traveler must confirm via email within 3 days.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of departure, or verbal notices within 5 days of departure, may result in automatic cancellation after 24 hours if written confirmation is not received.

  • Major health risks or outbreaks

In such cases:

  • You will receive a full refund of all payments made.

  • No additional compensation will be provided.

  • Clients must provide all required documents (photos, certificates, etc.) before booking confirmation.

  • Delays in document submission may cause issues for which the company is not responsible.

    • Medical emergencies

    • Evacuations

    • Trip cancellations

  • Rescue operations in Pakistan are typically conducted by the Pakistani Army, and clients must prepay rescue costs, reclaimable through insurance.

Visa & Entry Requirements

  • Obtaining a visa is solely the client’s responsibility.

  • Refunds due to visa or entry issues will be handled on a case-by-case, mutual-agreement basis.

  • Additional costs from delays or entry issues must be paid by the client.

Trip Modifications

  • Clients may request itinerary changes before departure; any costs for cancellations or new arrangements are their responsibility.

  • Weather conditions or unforeseen events may require itinerary adjustments.

Refund & Trip Completion Policies

  • No refunds are provided for early completion of the itinerary.

  • If a client chooses to end the trip early, they must cover the logistical costs for accompanying staff or porters.

Publicity & Media Usage

  • The company may request permission to use client photos/videos for marketing purposes.

  • Images or videos shared during the trip may be used for promotional materials with a royalty-free, worldwide license.

  • Children under 16 years must be accompanied by a guardian.

  • Clients are responsible for any damage to company-provided equipment.

  • Due to remote terrain, meals and accommodations may vary in quality despite best efforts.

  • These are not official endorsements, and the company is not liable for any outcomes from such activities.

  • Clients are responsible for monitoring travel advisories relevant to their destination.

  • Updated warnings (e.g., “Do Not Travel”) may constitute grounds for Force Majeure.

  • Clients are responsible for their luggage at all times, except when:

    • Under airline custody (subject to airline conditions)

    • During porterage included in the package

  • Ensure your luggage is properly loaded and retrieved during transfers.

  1. Report it immediately to our Tour Manager or the
    relevant service provider.
  2. If unresolved, submit a formal complaint within 20 days of trip completion:

As the organizer under the Package Travel & Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations (2018), we are responsible for ensuring the proper delivery of all services in your confirmed package.

Our commitment:

  • We accept responsibility for services provided directly by us or arranged through approved suppliers.

  • If negligence occurs and is not resolved within a reasonable timeframe, compensation may be provided based on circumstances.

We are not responsible for:

  • Injuries, illness, loss, or damage resulting from:

    • Your own acts or negligence

    • Actions of unrelated third parties

    • Force Majeure events (natural disasters, political unrest, terrorism, pandemics, etc.)
